Using Metis, the app is a user interface for Metis software. just like Facebook. 'Facebook' isn't on your phone; it is on a server owned by Facebook. In future app releases, users will be able to select their Metis server to link their phone. The Metis Container box houses 2 Raspberry Pis 4 with 8GB RAM each to support Jupiter and the installed applications. It is a standalone container connected to the outside world by blockchain and encryption. You will take back your digital life from Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram, Amazon, Google by communicating without censorship or restriction. Store files on your own hardware, yet they will be accessible as Google Drive or iCloud. You will be able to have your own physical bank by using JUP, JUSDT, JBTC, and JETH as well as any assets created on the Jupiter blockchain. Metis Container gives you control of all these and more!
If your Metis Container ever malfunctioned or was destroyed, all you do is put your 12-word passphrase and encryption password in the settings file and -everything- comes back. It's why we are building all our applications to function this way. Web3 is the future of the internet and applications. You can never be turned off and no one is depending on a business’s servers to communicate. -anyone- can stand up a Metis server and talk to anyone on Metis without Sigwo Technologies or the Jupiter Project.
